(343 kb) | | | | WEBGraphs The on-line Web based reporting
system that puts you in control
No matter what business you are in, WEBGraphs can provide a reliable and cost effective energy management solution that will help you improve your business and reduce your electricity costs.
WEBGraphs provides 24 hour access to energy consumption & power quality data via the internet. This data which is updated daily is then used to generate a suite of predefined self generated graphs and reports – all in a secure Windows environment. WEBGraphs uses the infrastructure of National Electricity Market metering which allows you
to access this valuable information to monitor and manage your energy consumption and quality of electricity supplied.
Furthermore, all energy consumers are susceptible to electricity supply interference which can cause
damage to equipment and loss of production. WEBGraphs is able to provide the tools to identify
and prove the incidence of these network disturbances and then isolate the interferences to
ensure a secure trouble free electricity supply.
WEBGraphs. Start managing your energy and reducing your costs today.
• Reduces energy costs
• 24/7 access to data

(313 kb) | | | | MAINS – Monitoring And Incident Notification Service
With TCA’s Monitoring And Incident Notification Service (MAINS), managing your electricity usage is easy.
MAINS offers a comprehensive monitoring service and will carry out all data aggregation and data analysis work for customers.
MAINS will monitor your energy usage and provide an alert notification service of exceptional electricity usage patterns from type 1 – 4 metering data.
MAINS will assist to ensure good energy management practices by undertaking remedial action when over usage is identified.
MAINS will alert you of exceptional usage so energy efficient practices can be maintained without tying up your resources.
A “normal load profile” of usage will be established for each site. These parameters are then applied against the actual consumption data. TCA then monitor the electricity usage to identify exceptions to the normal. Information on actual and exceptional usage is provided by Email alert notification and regular summary reports.
The MAINS service includes:
• Expected time based usage Profile for the site and HealthCheck tolerances.
• Daily Monitoring of Parameters:
- Peak Demand
- Power Factor
- After Hours Energy Usage – on Weekends and Public Holidays
- After Hours Energy Usage – Before and After Hours of normal business days
• This Year/Last Year Daily Energy Usage Comparison. Compares the quantity of kWh energy consumption to the same day last year
• HealthCheck Reports, which detail the parameters under alert so rectification actions can be taken. This status report is provided monthly for the first three months of the service then quarterly for the remainder of the term
• Alert notification of exceptional usage is provided weekly via Email.
The Alert Notification identifies usage that is outside expected optimal profile, allowing the client to investigate and undertake strategies to normalise the ongoing usage.
The Health Check provides a summary of information on electricity usage over the period and makes qualified observations and recommendations toward managing electricity usage.
Using the combination of WebGraphs and MAINS provides a cost-effective solution to manage electricity usage and reduce costs. |

(1,950 kb) | | | | Energy Audits - Energy Reporting that keeps you informed
Reduce energy consumption with our walk through inspections of your premises, identifying areas of inefficiency and overuse to establish best practice strategies.
The energy audit process can include the delivery of an Energy review report which involves site analysis, evaluation and assessment of energy consumption and identification of energy saving opportunities. More complex audits not only provide details relating to energy analysis and energy savings but also provide an indication of the cost to achieve such savings.
There are three types of audit levels available, Levels 1, 2 & 3 which are defined by the Australian Energy Audits Standard AS/NZ 3598:2000.
Level 1 Energy Audits are sometimes called an overview and allows the overall energy consumption at a site to be evaluated and assessments made whether the energy use is reasonable or excessive. A Level 1 Energy Audit provides initial benchmarks of the site so the effect of energy measures can be tracked and evaluated. These audits give an overview which provides rough orders or savings and costs and accuracy of figures is generally within ±40%.
Level 2 Energy Audits identify the sources of energy to a site, the amount of energy supplied and what the energy is used for. A Level 2 audit will also identify areas where savings can be made, recommends measures to be taken and provides a statement of costs and potential savings. These audits comprise an energy use survey which is expected to provide a preliminary assessment of costs and savings and accuracy of figures is generally within ±20%.
Level 3 Energy Audits provide a detailed analysis of energy usage, the savings that can be made and the cost of achieving those savings. Level 3 audits may cover a whole site or may focus on an individual area such as a single industrial process. The audit may involve the installation of local sub-metering and data logging. The results of Level 3 audits can sometimes require substantial investment by the owner and the audit report can help to justify such expenditure. These audits provide a firm estimate of savings and costs and accuracy of figures is generally within +10% for costs and -10% for benefits.
TCA's support doesn't stop after the provision of the audit service, we can also provide turnkey solutions once the audit report is complete. |
