Lane Cove Testing Station
Established in 1970, Lane Cove Testing Station (LCTS) is Australia's internationally recognised high power test facility. Our laboratory has ASTA BEAB Certification Services (UK) Accreditation. We test electrical equipment for manufacturers from all over the world and electricity supply authorities for the following purposes:
- Product certification
- Research and development
- Investigative (troubleshooting)
We can perform the following range of tests:
- Short-time current withstand
- Making and breaking capacity:
o Normal load
o Overload
o Short-circuit conditions
- Arcing fault
- Temperature rise
- Degree of protection, IP44 and endurance
- Dielectric test: Power Frequency and Lighting Impulse
